Dr. David Fogelberg Jr.

Veterinarian

With over 20 years of veterinary experience in small animals and exotics, Dr. David Fogelberg—we call him Dave—brings a wealth of knowledge and a caring approach to each patient he sees at Grant Animal Clinic. A graduate of Ross University’s School of Veterinary Medicine, Dave completed his clinical training at the University of Minnesota’s College of Veterinary Medicine, laying a strong foundation for his work in advanced veterinary care.

Dave has pursued extensive postdoctoral training in veterinary dentistry and has special interests in diagnostic ultrasound, endoscopy, and surgery. Known for his gentle touch and attention to detail, he’s passionate about keeping the pets of Grant-Valkaria healthy and their families reassured about their care. When he’s not at the clinic, you might find him out and about, enjoying the very community he serves.

Dr. Amanda Johnston

Veterinarian

Dr. Amanda Johnston is an Associate Veterinarian; she graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008 with one year of clinical training at Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Johnston has been practicing small animal medicine for 6 years and has additional fear free certification. She has an interest in dentistry and soft tissue surgery.

Gina

Veterinary Assistant / Client Care Representative

Since joining Grant Animal Clinic in 2019, Gina has become an invaluable part of our team, seamlessly balancing her roles as a Veterinary Technician and a Client Care Representative. Whether she’s assisting with pet care or greeting clients at the front desk, Gina brings warmth, skill, and a genuine passion for animals to everything she does. Cross-trained to keep things running smoothly on both ends, she’s always ready to lend a helping hand and ensure our patients and their families feel right at home.

Suzanne

Client Care Representative

With a background in hospitality and a heart for animals, Suzy joined the Grant Animal Clinic team in 2021, bringing her exceptional people skills and a warm smile to our front desk. Since shifting to the veterinary field in 2014, she’s been dedicated to making every client feel welcome and every visit a little brighter.

Caitlynn

Certified Veterinary Technician

Caitlynn has been a valued member of Grant Animal Clinic since we opened in 2019. She graduated from the Eastern Florida State College CVT program in 2009 and is an integral part of our medical team. Caitlynn has a special passion for surgical care and serves as a skilled scrub nurse, assisting our doctors in surgery with precision and dedication. Her expertise and commitment bring a high level of care to each procedure, making her a trusted teammate in our hospital.

Lora

Certified Veterinary Technician

Lora joined the Grant Animal Clinic team in 2019 and graduated from the Eastern Florida State Veterinary Technician program in 2015. A skilled and versatile veterinary technician, Lora brings a passion for animal care across multiple specialties, with a special interest in exotic pet medicine and surgery. Her expertise and enthusiasm make her an invaluable part of our team and a trusted caregiver for all of our patients, big and small.

Noelle

Certified Veterinary Technician

Noelle joined Grant Animal Clinic in 2019 working as a veterinary technician while still enrolled in the veterinary technician program at Eastern Florida State College. She graduated in 2020 and attained her certification as a Certified Veterinary Technician. In 2024, Noelle obtained her Bachelors in Science degree in Veterinary Technology from St. Petersburg College. Noelle enjoys volunteering on her time off with local organizations towards helping sea turtles.

Felicia

Certified Veterinary Technician

Felicia has been with Grant Animal Clinic since we opened our doors in 2019. She studied Veterinary Technology at Eastern Florida State College, where she graduated and became a certified technician in 2016. Outside of work she enjoys reading, aerial arts, and traveling with her husband.

Judy

Veterinary Assistant

Judy became a part of the Grant Animal Clinic team in 2019, where she works full-time as a Veterinary Assistant. Her passion for animal care is matched by her commitment to furthering her education—Judy is currently enrolled in the Penn Foster Veterinary Technology program, working toward becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician. Her dedication to both hands-on care and professional development makes her an invaluable member of our team.
